    Terms of Service

    Version 1.2 · Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms govern a paid PeopleStack membership.

    1. Who these terms are with

PeopleStack is operated by Kairos Recruitment Pty Ltd, ABN 91 669 675 003, of 33 Canning Street, Carlton, Victoria 3053. In these terms, "we", "us" and "PeopleStack" mean that company, and "you" means the business that buys a membership.

By completing checkout you agree to these terms on behalf of your business, and you confirm you are authorised to do so.

    2. What a membership gives you

A membership gives your business access, for the paid term, to:

    • the PeopleStack resource library, including templates, policies, checklists and guides
    • the PeopleStack Claude skills, which you download and run inside your own Claude account
    • the AI tools on the platform, including the intern plan writer and the employer brand check
    • the member community and member events
    • the ability to request new resources and features
    • member rates on separately scoped project work, and any partner offers current at the time

One membership covers your whole business. There is no seat limit, and you may give access to anyone employed or engaged by your business. You may not share your access with anyone outside it.

    3. What a membership is not

PeopleStack is a self-service platform. We are not your lawyer, your HR adviser, your accountant or your employment relations consultant, and a membership does not create any of those relationships.

Nothing on the platform is legal advice. Our templates and guides are a starting point drafted against Australian conditions as at the date shown on each one. You remain responsible for deciding whether a document suits your situation, for adapting it, and for having it reviewed before you rely on it or ask anyone to sign it.

Where a resource concerns a decision carrying real legal risk, the platform says so and recommends you take advice. Those prompts are there because they matter.

    4. Admission and vetting

Membership is open to businesses that own their people function without a dedicated HR team. We review every application and may decline one, including applications from consultants, advisory businesses and competitors.

If we decline your application after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

    5. Fees, GST and billing

Fees are shown on the pricing page and are quoted in Australian dollars excluding GST. GST is added at checkout at the applicable rate.

Membership is billed annually in advance. Your rate is set by the pricing rung current when you join.

Your membership renews automatically each year so your access is not interrupted. We will email you at least 14 days before each renewal, telling you the date and the amount. You can cancel at any time before renewal and the renewal will not be charged.

    6. Price changes

We may adjust your renewal fee in line with movements in the Australian Consumer Price Index. We will not move you to a higher pricing rung because newer members pay more.

If we adjust your fee, we will tell you at least 30 days before the renewal date. If you do not accept the adjustment, you may cancel before the renewal takes effect at no cost, and your access continues until the end of the term you have already paid for.

    7. Changes to the platform and to these terms

The platform changes as resources are added and improved. We may add, change or withdraw individual resources and features.

If we make a change that materially reduces what your membership gives you, we will tell you, and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your term.

We may change these terms. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any change that affects your rights, and the change applies from your next renewal. If you do not accept it, you may cancel before it takes effect, as set out in clause 6.

    8. Using the templates

We grant your business a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, for the term of your membership, to use, adapt and apply our templates and resources inside your own business, including in documents you issue to your own workers.

This includes the PeopleStack skills for Claude. You may install and use them in your own Claude account, inside your business. You may not share the files outside it.

Documents you create by adapting a template are yours. The underlying templates, guides and platform remain ours.

You may not resell, republish, license or distribute our resources, or use them to provide services to third parties. If your business advises other businesses on people matters, you need our written agreement first.

A document you issue to a worker is your document. We give no warranty that any template is suitable for your circumstances, complies with an award or agreement that applies to you, or will achieve any particular outcome.

    9. Your responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • keep your login credentials secure and not share them outside your business
    • give accurate information when you apply and keep it current
    • comply with the community guidelines, which prohibit soliciting, pitching other members and sharing another member's information outside the community
    • comply with applicable law in how you use the platform

    10. Suspension and termination

You may cancel your membership at any time from your account page or by emailing hello@peoplestack.com.au. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the term you have paid for, and the Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out when a refund applies.

We may suspend or end your membership if you breach these terms. Except where the breach is serious, we will tell you what the problem is and give you 14 days to fix it before we act. A serious breach includes sharing access outside your business, reselling our resources, or conduct that harms other members.

If we end your membership for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your term pro rata.

After your membership ends you may keep using documents you have already created from our templates. You lose access to the platform, the community and anything you have not downloaded.

    11. Consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a consumer guarantee applies and we fail to meet it, you have the rights the law gives you. Where the failure is major you may cancel the membership and seek a refund. Where it is not major we will fix the problem within a reasonable time.

    12. Our liability

This clause applies subject to clause 11, and only to the extent the law permits us to limit our liability.

Our guidance, templates and resources are general in nature and are not legal advice. You remain responsible for your own employment decisions, for how you use our guidance, and for your compliance with workplace, privacy and other laws. You should obtain legal advice before acting on any matter with legal consequences.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss or corruption of data, wasted management time, or any claim, fine, penalty or order brought against you by a worker, former worker, candidate, regulator, or any other person who is alleging loss and/or damage, however caused, including through our negligence.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or in connection with your membership, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited in aggregate to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the first claim.

Our liability is reduced to the extent you or your personnel caused or contributed to the loss. You must notify us in writing of any claim within 12 months of becoming aware of it, otherwise we will not be liable for it.

We are not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing or services of any partner, expert or third party we introduce you to, even if we recommend them, list them on our platform or receive a referral fee from them. Those are separate arrangements between you and them. We do not endorse or guarantee their services, and you should make your own enquiries before engaging them.

    13. Your information

We handle information about you and your business as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Anything you enter into the platform remains yours. We use it to provide the service, and we may use aggregated and de-identified information to understand how the platform is used and what to build next.

    14. Disputes

If something goes wrong, email hello@peoplestack.com.au first and we will try to resolve it with you directly. Most problems are quicker to fix that way.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause prevents either of us from seeking urgent relief or from using any dispute resolution body the law makes available to you.

    15. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your membership to another business without our written consent, which we will not withhold unreasonably if your business is restructured or sold.

PeopleStack currently operates under Kairos Recruitment Pty Ltd. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a related entity, including if PeopleStack moves into a company of its own. We will tell you at least 30 days beforehand, your terms and your rate carry across unchanged, and if you would rather not continue with the new entity you may cancel before the transfer takes effect and we will refund the unused part of your term pro rata.
